  • Ability Net
    A national charity helping disabled adults and children use computers and the internet by adapting and adjusting their technology.
  • Anchor Staying Put
    Provide a service to older and disabled homeowners across England, helping them with repairs adaptations and improvements so that they can remain in safety, security and warmth.
  • Bluebird Society for the Disabled
    Residents of Hove and Portslade who are mobility-impaired may enrol with the society and benefit from its outings, social and lunch clubs and group holiday arrangements.
  • Brighton & Hove City Council Carelink Plus
    CareLink Plus is a 24-hour community alarm service. It is available to anyone living in Brighton & Hove, in any type of housing. The service provides a communication link for people who may need to summon help quickly in an emergency due to age, illness or disability.
  • Brighton & Hove Community Transport
    Provides accessible, safe and affordable transport to community groups, voluntary sector organisations and individuals with mobility difficulties.

  • Direct Gov - New Deal for Disabled people (NDDP)
    NDDP is a programme of advice and practical support, which helps people move from disability and health-related benefits into paid employment.

    A national charity that provides free, impartial advice about all types of daily living equipment for adults with disabilities and disabled children, older people, their carers and families.

    Enable Payroll is a national payroll and employment advisory support service.  We provide a specialised service for users of direct payments or anyone who employs a personal assistant or care assistant to work for them in their home.

  • National Talking Newspapers and Magazines (NTN)
    NTN provides national newspapers and magazines in audio on tape, CD, DAISY CD and by MP3 download, and in digital full-text format by, e-mail, download and CD-ROM for visually impaired and print disabled people who find reading a strain.
  • Motability
    Motability enables disabled people to use their government funded mobility allowances to obtain a new car, powered wheelchair or scooter.
  • Sharon Collins Resource Centre
    The Sharon Collins Resource Centre is a day service that supports 30 adults with complex learning, physical and/or sensory impairments to access a range of centre and community-based activities.
  • Tourism for All
    A national charity dedicated to making tourism welcoming to all- those with disabilities, older people, carers of young people or disabled or older relatives.
  • Vitalise
    A national charity providing short breaks (respite care) and other services for disabled people, visually impaired people, and carers.
