  • Aspiration Active
    An independent provider of daytime and evening support for people with a learning difficulty.
    Members have the opportunity to use all the facilities of this resource centre according to their needs within person-centred planning.
  • Care Co-Ops - Life Opportunities Service
    Life Opportunities Service group programme provides a range of creative and educational activities during the day for people with learning disabilities and people with mental health needs, supporting members to develop their abilities, gain new skills and reach their potential in life. For access and charges information please contact them directly.
  • Marmion Day Centre
    The Lunch Club for people aged over 55 at Marmion Road provides a 3-course lunch at low cost. The Club offers activities and trips as well as friendship and support. Transport is available.
  • Preston Park Resource Centre
    Preston Park Resource Centre provides a structured day service for people aged 18-65 experiencing mental health needs in Brighton and Hove. The centre offers support, activities and therapies which promote good mental health and well-being. Self referrals are accepted and charges may apply.
  • Ralli Hall Lunch & Social Club
    Ralli Hall Lunch & Social Club welcomes people aged 60+ from Brighton and Hove who want to meet new people and keep active in the community. Lunch and many different activities (i.e. yoga classes, singing, dancing) are provided. For information about access and charging please see the website.
  • Sharon Collins Resource Centre
    The Sharon Collins Resource Centre is a day service that supports 30 adults with complex learning, physical and/or sensory impairments to access a range of centre and community-based activities.
  • Somerset Day Centre
    Somerset Day Centre provides supportive social and recreational day care facilities for vulnerable people over 65 who live in central/east Brighton. It is open on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Please find contact and access details on the website.
  • St John’s Day Centre
    St John’s Day Centre is open to all people 60+ living in Brighton and Hove who wish to meet other people and join social activities. Situated in the St John’s church in Palmeira Square, besides the Cornerstone Community Centre, it supports healthy living and independence and offers opportunities for learning (i.e. computer classes).
    The centre has its own café that serves also hot meals (open Mon-Fri 9.30am-3.30pm).
    Drop-in places are available alongside to referred places; charges may apply. Transport is available if needed.
  • Sussex Beacon
    The Sussex Beacon is a clinical care centre for men and women living with HIV/AIDS. Its day service opens on Tuesdays and Thursdays and aims to meet users’ physical, social and psychological needs. Accessing the service is mainly by referrals from other health care professionals, however enquiries from individuals are welcome.
  • Towner Club
    The Towner Club offers a therapeutic and supportive environment for younger people with dementia (under 65) who are enabled to maintain existing life skills and function more independently in the community.
    The Towner Club is a joint venture between the Alzheimer’s Society and Sussex Partnership Foundation Trust.
    In order to be eligible to join, members must:
    - Have a confirmed diagnosis of young onset dementia
    - Be under 65 at the time of joining
    - Reside in Brighton and Hove
    - Be under the care of a Community Mental Health Team in Brighton and Hove
    - Be independent with personal care needs.
    Transport is available if needed at £1.50/journey
